Anna Daines grew up in Fremont, California and Spokane, Washington, beginning her career at age seven as a producer of extravagant films featuring all 80 of her Beanie Babies.

Since then, she has focused primarily on acting, though she is also a self-proclaimed "recovering academic," holding a masters degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities.

Daines trained with a strong theatre background at Brigham Young University and also studied in Hawaii, Jerusalem, Paris, and London. Professionally, she played Molly in the regional premiere of Ghost: The Musical, Aldonza/ Dulcinea in Man of La Mancha, Eponine in Les Miserables (According to the Salt Lake Tribune, "Her rendition of 'On My Own' lights up the stage")and Jane in Disney's Tarzan, just to name a few roles.

 

Anna first made her name on screen in the Rocky Mountain market on ABC's Blood and Oil (with Don Johnson and Chase Crawford) and her starring role in the feature cult favorite movie musical Saturday's Warriorwhich climbed into the top thirty grossing films in the US its opening weekend in April 2016. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Daines has also played roles on Paramount (Yellowstone), PBS (American Prophet), Lifetime (The Road Home), Hallmark (Check Inn to Christmas, My Christmas Love), Investigation Discovery (Extreme Measures), and appeared in numerous national commercials.

Anna is a closet novelist and poet, as well as avid knitter, traveler, and cuddler of dogs and small humans.
